its almost like this genetic/evolutionary psych revolution has come as a reaction to the humanistic psych stuff. humans are back to being a collection of instincts and programmable parts.
What’s the next step ? I bet on neuroscience, as we know more and more stuff on how the brains worked, we understand that we can’t explain human behavior on the materialism basis of the brain. I don’t think that, right now, the tech. allowing us to discover the basis of consciousness but maybe in a couple of decade we’re gonne get it. Then, the human we be another times dehumanizated !
